Dr. Anubhav Dogra
Post Doctoral Research Associate/Fellow (PDRA) in the Terabotics project, at the University of Warwick
Experiences:
In my current role as a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, I have been deeply involved in leading and collaborating on multidisciplinary research projects, particularly those involving robotics, sensor processing, and computer vision. During my postdoctoral tenure, I have led a project aimed at improving in vivo skin imaging technique by designing and developing an autonomous robotic manipulation system. I am working in a group of physicists therefore I am leading the robotics part of the project where I planned and developed the robotic system components and the complete software architecture demonstrating my ability to innovate and solve complex problems in the field of robotics. The system I developed includes KUKA LBR Med 14 functional with Cartesian Impedance controller, RGB-D camera with deep learning-based detection and pose estimation algorithm, Force controller for medical contact tasks, and a GUI based on ROS framework responsible for connecting and communicating all the nodes of the robot system."
General Highlights:
Responsible for Planning and designing a complete Autonomous Robotic Manipulation System for in vivo scanning of the human body to detect abnormal skin conditions.
Complete design and development of the Modular and Reconfigurable Robotic Manipulators, from design optimization of links and joints to the automatic modeling of the modular configurations, and control.
Planning, design and development of an autonomous mobile robot for healthcare services, which was nominated in the top 10 of the national challenges during Covid-19 period. Project was aimed for the design of autonomous delivery of the food and medicines for every patient in an hospital environment.
Robot Operating System (ROS) with URDF, Moveit, Gazebo and ros_control.
Robot kinematic and dynamic modelling, non-linear constrained optimization, Robotic Toolbox, etc using MATLAB.
CAD/CAE, motion analysis simulations, topology optimization using SOLIDWORKS and ABAQUS.
Coding skills: Windows/Linux, C++, Python, MATLAB, LATEX etc.
